    Terms of Service

    Last updated: April 6, 2026

    1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Medi-Chi ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

    2. Description of Service

Medi-Chi is an educational tool that provides Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnosis information based on Western medical conditions. The Service uses AI technology to generate TCM pattern diagnoses, acupuncture point recommendations, and herbal formula suggestions.

    3. Medical Disclaimer

The Service is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.

    4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

    5. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually). You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

    5.1 Free Trial

New users are entitled to a 7-day free trial of Premium features. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial period, you will automatically revert to the Free plan unless you subscribe.

    5.2 Cooling-Off Period & Refund Policy

If you cancel your paid subscription within 7 days of your initial purchase date, you are entitled to a full refund — no questions asked. The refund will be processed automatically to your original payment method.

After the 7-day cooling-off period, all sales are final and no refunds will be issued. However, if you cancel after the cooling-off period, you will retain full access to Premium features until the end of your current billing cycle.

    5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Subscription page. Upon cancellation:

    • Within 7 days of purchase: Your subscription is cancelled immediately and a full refund is issued.
    • After 7 days: Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which it will not renew.

    6. Intellectual Property & Copyright

All content, features, functionality, design, graphics, text, data compilations, software code, algorithms, and the overall look and feel of the Service are the exclusive property of Medi-Chi and its licensors.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any materials from the Service without the prior written consent of Medi-Chi, except as follows:

    • Your device may temporarily store copies of such materials in RAM incidental to accessing and viewing those materials.
    • You may store files that are automatically cached by your web browser for display enhancement purposes.
    • You may print or download one copy of a reasonable number of pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Any use of the Service not expressly permitted by these Terms constitutes a breach and may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.

    6.1 Practitioner-Submitted Content (Case Studies)

Clinical case studies submitted by registered practitioners through the Service remain the intellectual property of the submitting practitioner. Medi-Chi makes no claim of authorship or ownership over the clinical narrative, treatment reasoning, or outcome data contained within a submitted case study.

By submitting a case study for review and publication, the practitioner grants Medi-Chi a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, format, and distribute the case study on the Service for educational and reference purposes. The practitioner may request removal of their published case study at any time by contacting support@medichi.online.

Each published case study will carry a small "Prepared using Medi-Chi (medichi.online)" acknowledgement so readers can identify the structured CARE/STRICTA tooling used to write it up. This acknowledgement does not transfer ownership and does not constitute co-authorship.

    7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Medi-Chi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

    8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service.

    9. Contact Us
