Ingredients
- 60 g Job's tears, soaked 2 hours
- 50 g short-grain rice
- 5 g aged tangerine peel, soaked and shredded
- 3 ginger slices
- 900 ml water
- Sea salt
- 1 spring onion, optional
Method
- 1Drain Job's tears and combine with rice, peel, ginger and water.
- 2Bring to the boil, then simmer for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 3Add water if needed to keep a loose porridge consistency.
- 4Remove ginger, season lightly and garnish if desired.
