    Ingredients

    • 20 g dried longan flesh (Lóng Yǎn Ròu)
    • 6 red dates (Dà Zǎo), pitted and torn
    • 1 small cinnamon twig (Guì Zhī) or 1/2 cinnamon quill
    • 10 g goji berries (Gǒu Qǐ Zǐ)
    • 700 ml water

    Method

    1. 1Rinse the longan, dates and cinnamon twig.
    2. 2Simmer longan, dates and cinnamon in the water for 20 minutes, lid ajar.
    3. 3Add the goji berries and simmer a further 5 minutes.
    4. 4Strain into cups and sip warm. The fruit can be eaten.
