    Hypersensitivity Pneumonitis (adjunctive care)

Also known as: hypersensitivity pneumonitis, bird fancier's lung, farmer's lung, allergic lung inflammation

Hypersensitivity pneumonitis is lung inflammation from breathing in dust, mould or animal proteins — often from birds, hay or damp buildings. Removing the exposure is the key treatment; steroids help acute flares. Chinese medicine supports the wind-cold, lung-heat and qi-yin deficiency patterns alongside allergen removal and specialist care.
