Post-viral fatigue (adjunctive care)
Also known as: post-viral fatigue, long covid, me/cfs, chronic fatigue
Post-viral fatigue is persistent exhaustion, brain fog and unrefreshing sleep after a viral illness, including long COVID. A GP should rule out other causes, and pacing (not pushing through) is the core management. Chinese medicine sees it as Qi and Yin damage after the pathogen, with Spleen weakness or lingering Damp.
