    Dupuytren's Contracture (adjunctive care)

Also known as: dupuytren contracture, palmar fibromatosis, curled finger

Dupuytren's contracture is progressive thickening of palm tissue that pulls fingers into a bent position — common in older adults, genetic, often bilateral. Treatment ranges from observation to injection or surgery when grip is limited. Chinese medicine treats stasis blocking, blood deficiency and cold-damp patterns alongside.
