    Uveitis (adjunctive care)

Also known as: uveitis, eye inflammation, iritis, inflamed middle layer of eye

Uveitis is inflammation inside the eye — painful, light-sensitive, sometimes linked with autoimmune disease or infection. It needs urgent ophthalmological care (steroids, dilating drops) to prevent damage. Chinese medicine treats wind-heat, liver fire and yin-deficiency patterns alongside, once the medical diagnosis is made.
