    Pneumonia recovery (adjunctive care)

Also known as: pneumonia recovery, post-pneumonia fatigue, chest infection recovery

After pneumonia, cough, fatigue and breathlessness can linger for weeks while the lungs heal. Finishing antibiotics and following the treating doctor's plan come first. Chinese medicine sees the recovery phase as Lung Qi and Yin deficiency after the pathogen has drained the body, sometimes with lingering Phlegm.
