    Location

    1.5 cùn lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of T10.

    Actions

    • Clears Damp-Heat from the Liver and Gallbladder
    • Regulates Shào Yáng
    • Strengthens the Gallbladder and resolves timidity

    Indications

    Bitter taste, jaundice, timidity, damp-heat in Gallbladder, indecision.

    Pair with LR/GB channel points for Shào Yáng syndromes and biliary complaints.

    Needling technique

    Oblique toward the spine, 0.5–0.8 cùn.

    Moxibustion

    Gentle stick moxa for cold-damp jaundice or timidity from Gallbladder deficiency.

    Cautions

    Pneumothorax risk with deep perpendicular needling.
