    Location

    1.5 cùn lateral to the median sacral crest, level with the 2nd posterior sacral foramen (S2).

    Actions

    • Regulates the Bladder and promotes urination
    • Clears Damp-Heat from the Lower Jiāo
    • Strengthens the lumbar and sacral region

    Indications

    Urinary retention, enuresis, cystitis, low back stiffness, sacral pain.

    First-line for lower Jiāo Water patterns; almost always paired with its Front-Mù REN-3.

    Needling technique

    Perpendicular 0.8–1.2 cùn into the sacrum.

    Moxibustion

    Excellent for cold-type enuresis and chronic urinary frequency from Kidney/Bladder Yáng deficiency.

    Cautions

    Avoid strong stimulation in pregnancy.
